Last Friday, on March 7, our Year 13 BTEC Business students, Celine Rusli, Suman Miu, Devesh Dadlani, Sofia Robertson, Aadya Dusad and Mihir Dowlani, showcased their impressive event management skills by hosting the ESF Marketing Competition 2025. We were honoured to welcome special guests, including ESF CEO Belinda Greer and Island School Principal Mrs Nina Gunson, who both commended the students for their teamwork, strategic thinking, and innovation.
In collaboration with Dough Bros, the competition involved 84 Year 12 students from across the ESF, all vying to create exciting new marketing campaigns for unique pizza ideas, such as durian, taco, and miso cod pizzas. Participants rose to the challenge, presenting their concepts in under three minutes while applying their business theory knowledge and creative talents.
Island School proudly took home the ‘Most Valuable Team’ award, a student-voted accolade, for their Buffalo Chicken Wing pizza marketing campaign. Meanwhile, Sha Tin College received the teacher-voted award for their Butter Chicken pizza.
This thrilling event was a fantastic experience for all involved.
