On Thursday ESF Girls Rising welcomed four external speakers to the Performance Space for their most recent speaking event, 'Spotlight on STEM- Women Series'. ESF Girls Rising is a new collaboration between Island School Girls Rising, KGV and ESF Centre.
The speakers were diverse- Ms Suman Vaze, a Maths teacher and artist; Dr Florence Chan, a tech innovator and CEO of AI Guided; Professor Veronique Lafon Vinais, Associate Professor of HKUST Business School; and Dr Elvira Rey Redondo, an Ocean Science PhD- but all had a strong message to share with our Year 10 and Year 12 students as they consider university and career pathways. Heartfelt thanks to the speakers for taking the time to inspire the next generation to succeed in STEM fields.
