Congratulations to Timmy Leung (9DS), Gabriella Kwok (11WJ), Edward Du (11NH), Alvin Lau (11NC), and their team, the Predacons, for winning the Championship in the Construction Robot Challenge! This open competition, supported by the Hong Kong government, featured schools from across Hong Kong.
The Predacons dedicated four months to the competition and secured first place among 11 teams in the final round. Their outstanding robot was also showcased at the Construction Robot Competition and Exhibition.
Timmy Leung reflected, "This competition was a great chance to use what I've learned in DT and Computer Science in a real project. Winning was incredible, but the best part was the whole process: problem-solving with my team and even presenting our robot at the exhibition. It has definitely inspired me to keep building."
