On March 11th, our Year 12 IBCP Business students visited Ovolo Southside, located at Wong Chuk Hang. This visit gave them an insight into the hospitality industry in Hong Kong as they were treated to a presentation by the general manager as well as a guided room tour.
The team at Ovolo shared valuable knowledge into their mission of making their customers go through an “effortless living” experience through a mix of boutique design and joy spreading. Beyond this mission, students learnt about the business’ operations—going through everything from the organisational structure and financing to the organisational structure and operations involved in running a hotel.
It was a wonderful glance at how businesses can operate and we'd like to thank Ovolo Hotels for giving us this opportunity.
