Is it possible to see people's beliefs? Our Year 8 students answered that question this week in their Culture & Community Unit Presentations on Thursday, April 30. Students curated displays that demonstrated how "invisible beliefs" are expressed and shown in places around the world. Through aspects such as art, clothing, architecture, food and more, students explored the reasons behind what we see across diverse cultures and communities.
Mrs. Gunson, Ms. Murphy and Mr. Otto also visited the exhibition in celebration of our school's Multi-Cultural / Mother Tongue Week. Our special guests were particularly impressed by the variety of physical artefacts that students had created to fully explain the complex nature behind the visible culture we see.
Well done to all Year 8s on a fantastic showcase!
