On September 2, Mr Soondo Hong from the University of Arizona Admissions Team began with a practical, insightful, deep dive into the U.S. higher education system. He guided students through academic flexibility, interdisciplinary study, and explained how American universities prepare students for their future careers.

The following day, we were delighted to welcome back Island School alumni Leonard Lui (UCL, Business) and Luciano Suen (Imperial, Computer Science). They shared honest, firsthand perspectives on university life in the UK, from academics and campus culture to managing living costs. They also equipped our students with thoughtful strategies to make the most of the upcoming University Fair. Leonard and Luciano are currently interning at investment banking and private equity firms. They have kindly offered to stay connected via LinkedIn, and we encourage students to reach out, ask questions, and continue building their professional networks. Connections like these can be incredibly valuable in opening future doors.

It was especially encouraging to see our alumni with fellow alumni friends. This demonstrates that the Island School spirit and network continue to strengthen well beyond our doors.
