Last week, WANBO’s Green Week was a huge success, bringing our school community together through a variety of engaging events.
On Monday, 7 September, the week began with a delicious vegetarian lunch and an exciting scavenger hunt for Year 7 students. On Tuesday, 8 September, the Waste Wise sprouting competition took place. More than 100 pots were distributed to students, who will be growing their plants in an effort to create the tallest sprout and beat CDNIS’s record of 59.5 cm. The momentum continued later in the week, with over 30 students attending screenings of The Lorax on Wednesday, 10 September and Thursday, 11 September.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Green Week such a success!
