On Tuesday 26 May, the Island School PTA celebrated the Class of 2026 – another cohort of students who have successfully graduated from Island School. The evening was dedicated to recognising the hard work, growth, and achievements of the Year 13 class.
This reception honoured the graduates for their determination through two demanding years of extended essays, internal assessments, Theory of Knowledge, CAS, and BTEC courses. It also celebrated the parents who provided countless early mornings, late-night encouragement, and endless support, as well as the teachers for their unwavering guidance and belief in every student.
The Sports Hall was transformed with balloons, banners, and photo backdrops to mark this milestone occasion. Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of nibbles, appetisers, mocktails, and desserts while socialising, mingling, and taking photos with family members and teachers.
A huge thank you to the PTA committee members and parent volunteers for organising such a heartfelt reception. The PTA wishes all Year 13 students the very best for their future endeavours. Once an Islander, always an Islander – the Class of 2026 will forever be part of the Island School family.
