We are thrilled to announce the launch of the career and academic exploration segment of the Bridge Program for Year 11 students! Our journey began with engaging lectures from esteemed faculty across various disciplines, including Optometry, Psychology, and Humanities. Students have actively participated in these discussions, posing thoughtful questions during our recent networking reception.
In collaboration with the PTA and Alumni Association, we are dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities tailored to our students' interests. This Monday, Year 11 students had an incredible chance to visit LGT Bank, where they gained in-depth knowledge about private banking, investments, relationship management, and the functions of legal and marketing teams. They explored the various career paths that can lead to these rewarding fields. Upcoming visits to Towngas and K11 Musea are set to offer even more enlightening experiences!
Back at school, notable alumni Kevin Angelini and Rodney Lloyd shared their inspiring journeys from IS to financial services, while Aislinn MacPhail discussed her path to Physiotherapy. Saylee Jangham inspired everyone with her story in Bioengineering, and Mr. Peter Lam from the Association of HK Accountants provided insights into accounting careers and valuable internship opportunities. Dr. Chan from HKU also offered essential perspectives on finance and auditing.
We invite students in Years 10-12 to join us for a networking session on March 24th at the Senior Learning Hub. Bring your resumes and seize the opportunity to connect with potential employers and mentors!
