This week on March 10, Year 11 students in the Bridge Program conducted an industry visit to Town Gas Headquarters, where they learned about gas supply in Hong Kong, met dedicated engineers, and observed the 24/7 call handling centre. The visit concluded with a formal presentation highlighting various pathways into the engineering profession.
On campus, we hosted alumni speakers: Ash Gupta ’03 (Partner and Head of Asia Operational Due Diligence), Sebastian Lau ’17 (Consultant at IBM), Jacob Cheung ’07 (Head of Marketing at Sanofi), Avinash Sujanani ’16 (Associate at Goldman Sachs), and Zion Kim ’16 (Entrepreneur and Investment Analyst). They shared their interesting career journeys, along with industry experts Dr. Marc Yang (Emergency Medicine Specialist), Dr. Edwin Mok (Director, Quantitative Finance Programme at CUHK), and Julie Palmer-Gianni (Admission Representative, University of Plymouth).
Looking ahead, we invite all students to meet distinguished speakers and potential internship employers on March 17th in room 225 and March 24th in the Senior Learning Hub during lunch breaks. Check speaker profiles here and get ready to ask questions about various career paths and inquire about summer opportunities!
