Y12 Biology and Physics IA Day
On April 17th, our Year 12 students were off timetable to complete the practical data collection for their Physics and Biology Internal Assessments.
Redress Clothing Sale
After collecting a staggering 1,555 items of secondhand clothing throughout the course of 2 weeks, Da Vinci claimed 1st place with a massive 460 items, followed by Einstein (380), Fleming (290), Rutherford, Wilberforce (153), and Nansen (32).
VEX IQ Challenge Competitions 2025-26
Island School has had a very successful 2025-26 Robotics Season, culminating in 40807B - ‘Fried Chicken’ (Koen Koo [09ND]; Gene Oh [09EK]; Jamie Wat [09EK]; Janice Wat [09EC]) winning the Build Award at the prestigious HK Tech Hong Kong Tech Challenge Junior 2026 - Middle School VIQRC Hong Kong Championship 2026.
SWIMS Marine Biodiversity Ambassador Program
Six Island School students joined other ESF secondary schools in the SWIMS Marine Biodiversity Ambassador Program, which ran across four Saturday morning sessions in February and March.

On March 20, Year 7 & 8 Climate Changers Elements students visited kNOw Carbon House in Wan Chai to learn about local sustainability initiatives and prepare for Green Week.
