The Bridge program wrapped up its series of industry visits with an enriching trip to K11 Musea on 17th March. Students had a fantastic opportunity to explore the history and architecture of K11 Musea, learning about the inspiring elements and materials used in its design. They gained insight into how engineers and architects navigate government and budget constraints to bring their creative visions to life. This experience ignited students' passions for majors and careers in art, design, architecture, and engineering.
On campus, we welcomed notable alumni speakers: Michelle Wong (2016), Resident and Honorary Clinical Tutor at the Department of Anaesthesia, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine at Prince of Wales Hospital; Jonathan Kong (2011), Vice President, Global Investment at Towngas; and Ezra Leung (2004), Investment Professional at Sumitomo Corporation. We also hosted industry professionals, including James Wong Sing-Wai, Chairman of Chinney Alliance Group; Matthew Yu, Director of Core Functions at Zubin Foundations; and Arnold Wong, Co-Founder at ARTA Architects.
Next week, we will conclude the Bridge program with an invitation for all students to network with our speakers during lunch break in the Senior Learning Hub. To find out who the speakers are, please take a look at the program HERE.
