Year 11 Social Action Exhibition

At Island School, we believe it is essential that our students connect with some of the key global issues that are facing humanity today, both globally and locally. It is essential that they not only have an understanding of how these world issues are interconnected within their own lives but that we empower them with the skills and competencies to tackle these challenges and make a difference in society.

Lunar New Year 2025 Celebration Week

This week, Island School is celebrating Lunar New Year with a range of festive activities, including lion dances, a Year 7 Zodiac hunt, staff, student, and parent dances, a PTA snack and plushie sale, LNY crafts, and an exciting Lunar New Year assembly. Wishing everyone a Happy Year of the Snake!

Wanbo Update

It has been a while since WANBO (環保) was last updated. We are the new heads for Wanbo Committee, Jasmine, Anna, Natalie and Zita, We are excited to work on creating a new year full of environmental initiatives.

Island School has long been an advocate of exploring and developing partnerships with local, regional and global businesses, organisations and NGOs. We see these partnerships as hugely important in order to create authentic learning opportunities for our students. However, developing partnerships between schools is an area we see as being crucial, in particular when we look at this in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
