On January 27th, our Year 13 Business Management students visited Museum Café 8, located at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. This visit provided a unique window into the social enterprise business model, where profit and purpose meet.

The team at Café 8 shared valuable insights into their mission of empowering individuals with learning differences through vocational training. Beyond the social impact, students learnt about the realities of the F&B industry—discussing everything from marketing strategies to the specific financial hurdles of running a mission-driven business. It was an eye-opening look at how businesses can operate while understanding the real-world challenges of fostering a more inclusive society.
