Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

After months of rehearsals and preparation, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child took to the Borrett Theatre stage for four magical performances from February 3 to 5. Our talented students brought this magical story to life, showcasing their dedication and creativity on stage. This was supported by a production team led by students who ensured the set, costume, props, sound and lighting helped make these performances shine.

The performances were a celebration of teamwork and talent, captivating the audience with enchanting storytelling and impressive visuals. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported our cast and crew over the three months of preparation and to our wonderful students whose collaboration, creativity and drive embody what it means to be an Islander and the heartbeat of Island Creative's talented community.

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Ms. Kawano and Mrs. Lacey Vittachi for their directing, leadership, creativity and guidance, plus a lot of patience during the process. They could not have done this without the support of our technicians Ken An and Colin Chan and additionally from the returning Jessica De Borja and Theodora Ng.

When we return from the  Lunar New Year Break, we have our eternally popular Spring Concert and IB Visual Arts Exhibition. Looking forward,  we have our Middle Phase production and more Creative Arts Inter House competitions. We look forward to welcoming you to some, or all of the above.

Creatively yours,

Paul McCracken
