This week on the evening of March 3rd, The Music Department put on a Spring Concert that returned with full splendour, showcasing a range of music from different ensembles and the work that is produced from the classrooms. A particular highlight of the concert were the student compositions and arrangements, namely by Charisse Lam 12N, Enzo Lee 13D, Horace Yip 13N, and Jeremy Yau 12R.
The musicians worked tremendously hard to prepare for this concert, and the success of the evening was definitely driven by their efforts. Heartfelt thanks also go to Miss Claudia Lau and Mr Cameron Otto for their leadership, guidance and artistic development, and to Mr Colin Chan for his strong technical support. Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who attended the concert and showed support for Island School's Musicians.
We look forward to the IB Visual Arts Exhibition taking place next Wednesday, March 11th, as well as the MYP Production in Term 2 to come.
