On March 20, Year 7 & 8 Climate Changers Elements students visited kNOw Carbon House in Wan Chai to learn about local sustainability initiatives and prepare for Green Week.
During the trip, students explored the "Adventure Lab," learning about Hong Kong’s strategies for net-zero electricity, waste reduction, and green transport. They also participated in a green workshop. This experience allowed them to apply key course competencies—Critical Thinking and Communication—as they analysed real-world data to identify climate solutions.
These insights will be invaluable as students move forward with their own climate mitigation projects and gear up to lead school-wide initiatives during Green Week!
