IS Shines at the HK Model United Nations Conference
Students from Island School recently participated in the annual Hong Kong Model United Nations Conference held at Hong Kong University on March 28th. This year’s theme, Rising to Resolution, encouraged young delegates to address some of the world’s most pressing issues. From climate change to conflict, students explored the importance of collaboration and diplomacy in tackling global challenges.

Island School Students Featured at Art Central
Congratulations to Sophie Lee (11N) and Rashida Ebrahim (13E) who had their artworks selected for the Sovereign Art prize. Their work was exhibited at Art Central over the weekend. A fantastic achievement!

Professor King Visits Biology Elements Students
On Monday March 24th, the Island School Science department welcomed Professor Sarah King from the University of Sussex for an exciting and stimulating lesson which she delivered to the Biology Elements students. Professor King is a neuroscientist who found her initial passion for Science at Island School which she attended in the 1980s and was in Da Vinci House! She had an inspirational Chemistry teacher, Mrs Boag who inspired her to study Science at University.
